HOPE4U INSIEME CONTRO BATTE APS was born from a deep feeling: hope.
The hope of an 8-year-old girl, Rachele, and of her family.
The hope of those who stand by her every day and refuse to give up in the face of a challenge that feels greater than anything else.
The hope of a group of parents, friends, and individuals who chose to unite their strength, their hearts, and their voices to help give her a future.
Rachele è affetta dalla malattia di Batten CNL3, an ultra-rare condition that marks time with harshness and places an enormous burden on the children and families who face it.
Ma se questa malattia è crudele, la ricerca e la scienza hanno iniziato a scrivere una nuova pagina: terapie innovative, studi sperimentali, approcci personalizzati che, per la prima volta, stanno aprendo una strada fatta di possibilità concrete. Una strada che può regalare tempo, vita e speranza, anche se piena di ostacoli. I costi delle cure sono altissimi, gli spostamenti impegnativi, le difficoltà logistiche enormi.
Eppure, una diagnosi arrivata in tempo ha dato a Rachele e alla sua famiglia una possibilità preziosa: intervenire prima che la malattia possa peggiorare e cancellare ciò che ancora è possibile proteggere.
This is where HOPE4U INSIEME CONTRO BATTEN APS was born.
Born from the courage not to give up.
Born from the immense love of a mother and a father for their child.
Born from the belief that when life presents us with difficult challenges, together we can build bridges of solidarity, open paths where none seem to exist, and create opportunities that would otherwise feel out of reach.
Our goal is clear and concrete:
- to support Rachele and her family throughout this complex journey,
- raccogliere fondi per permettere l’accesso alle cure necessarie,
- to raise awareness of this rare disease,
and above all, to build a network of support that ensures they never feel alone.
Behind our association there is a wave of people. Hearts beating as one. Voices choosing to believe in research and science. Hands ready to reach out, even with a small gesture, to turn hope into reality. If you are reading these words, it means that you, too, can make a difference.
